The Flecha Cantina restaurant owned by actor Mark Wahlberg caught fire last Wednesday (6), one day before its grand opening ceremony in Las Vegas.
Located in Las Vegas, Mark Wahlberg’s Flecha Cantina restaurant suffered a major fire last Wednesday (6), one day before the grand opening ceremony.
A spokesperson for the restaurant told People magazine that “a faulty fireplace caught fire” inside the establishment. No one was injured.
“There was no damage inside the restaurant. The only damage was to the fireplace and the chair next to it,” the spokesperson added.
The restaurant had been open since September 14 and the grand opening was scheduled for Thursday (7). This is the second location of Wahlberg’s venture.
The first Flecha Cantina location was launched in June in Huntington Beach, California. The Las Vegas restaurant is “a fusion of traditional Mexican flavors with innovative touches,” according to a press release.
